Nairobi Water cuts supply to Kasarani, Roysambu and Kayole for 29 hours

The outage began at 3am on Thursday and runs until 8am on Friday while the Karimenu Transmission Pipeline is shut. Kenyatta University and Kahawa Barracks are among the places affected.

Taps are dry across large parts of eastern and northern Nairobi. Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company has shut off supply for 29 hours. The gang threatened those recording before retreating, according to Citizen Digital. The violence has been escalating. On Saturday, armed robbers attacked and killed a middle-aged man in Ahero. By Tuesday, two more people had been injured in a machete attack in Migosi Estate. Several shops have also been broken into, and business owners are counting their losses. Two days before the lorry incident, residents made a citizen's arrest…
