Homes in Nairobi's wealthiest estates kept getting more expensive in the third quarter of 2026. The latest HassConsult House Price Index puts the rise in house prices in the city's established suburbs at 2.3%, Business Today Kenya reported.

Rents climbed faster than sale prices. Rental prices in the same suburbs rose 2.7% in the quarter. According to the report, strong demand for residential property kept pushing prices up in some of the city's richest neighbourhoods.

Business Today Kenya's headline also says house prices fell in Nairobi's satellite towns. The available material does not say how far they fell or which towns were affected.
