Liverpool have ruled midfielder Ryan Gravenberch out of their trip to Fenerbahce with a heel injury, the BBC reported on Tuesday. He will not travel with the 22-man squad to Istanbul. Instead, he will stay at the AXA Training Centre for treatment by the club's medical team.

Gravenberch also missed Liverpool's loss to Arsenal on Sunday. According to the BBC, 19-year-old Trey Nyoni is set to get more minutes while Gravenberch is out. Nyoni has played regularly under Andoni Iraola. He made his first Premier League start against the Gunners.

The travelling squad includes Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Florian Wirtz, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo. Fenerbahce interim boss Dirk Kuyt is preparing for a reunion with Liverpool, AFP reported.
