Kenya Airways passengers will be able to pre-order duty-free goods up to 40 days before departure and have them delivered to their seats. The digital service is part of a five-year partnership with Safari Duty Free, Business Daily reported.
Kenya Airways (KQ) will move its in-flight duty-free shopping to a digital platform from Sunday, November 1, Business Daily reported. Passengers will be able to order from a larger catalogue up to 40 days before they fly.
The national carrier is launching the service in a five-year partnership with Safari Duty Free. Travellers will be able to browse, compare and pre-order products before boarding. Their purchases will be delivered directly to their seats, the paper reported.
Business Daily described the move as part of a wider overhaul of the airline's retail business.
